The Birth of Poland

It is an English version of a book about the beginnings of Poland. Author writes concisely and plainly about the kingdom of Mieszko I, prince's team, living in a mediaeval city, Romanesque art and the work of craftsmen and tradesmen. The book encourages readers to visit museums in Wiekopolska (Greater Poland), where they can find monuments from the time of the first Piasts. The story goes with vivid and detailed illustrations.
